GGD Doha Moved to Barcelona
Due to the U.S.–Israel war with Iran, the Georgetown Global Dialogues (GGD), originally scheduled to take place March 28-30 at Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q), will now be held in Barcelona.
The Barcelona 2026 gathering, under the theme “Futures for Hope in a Broken World,” is the fourth in a GGD series that features leading thinkers from the Global South. More information about the events and livestreams is available on the GGD website.
GGD began in Washington, DC (April 2024) and continued in Rome (June 2025) and Barcelona (November 2025). It will meet again in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in October 2026. The GGD website features details on GGD events, background on the eight GGD fellows, and the GGD Forum.
