Global Dialogues

Parul Sehgal is a critic at large for The New York Times, where she has also been a book critic and senior editor. She was a staff writer at The New Yorker from 2021 to 2024. She has won awards for her criticism from the New York Press Club, the National Book Critics Circle, and the Robert B. Silvers Foundation. She teaches in the graduate creative-writing program at New York University.
