Rev. Nuno da Silva Gonçalves, S.J., is a Portuguese Jesuit who has served as editor-in-chief of La Civiltà Cattolica since 2023. Before that he served as rector of Gregorian University in Rome from 2016 to 2023. His previous leadership positions have included dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Catholic University of Portugal and director of the national office for Cultural Heritage of the Portuguese Episcopal Conference.
