Jaelene Iyman (SFS’26) is a student at Georgetown University in Qatar, pursuing a degree in international politics with a pre-law concentration. She has interned at the U.S.-Qatar Business Council and the Libra Group, where she supported the international policy and investment sectors. Jaelene participated in the South African Institute of International Affairs’ Youth Parliament programs, discussing policy on regional development and global cooperation. A Bezos Scholar and co-organizer of the South African Ideas Festival, she has led civic engagement initiatives that connect young people to social impact tools and platforms. Jaelene is a fall 2025 Georgetown Global Dialogues student fellow.
